Chinese Youth Film Festival

We invite you to join us for our third annual Chinese Youth Film festival featuring movies with Mandarin audio and English subtitles. This event is free and open to the public and includes time for discussion after each film. Films will be shown in Leadership Auditorium on the second floor of the MU Student Center. We are excited to announce the films for our third annual Chinese Youth Film Festival:

This Oscar-winning animated short revolves around an empty-nester who’s delighted to get another shot at motherhood when one of her dumplings comes to life. Professor Micheal Volz and Professor ZHANG Suling will present additional information about Chinese family dynamics and facilitate a group discussion.

A poor Chinese laborer learns an important lessons after his son gets a strange new toy in this film by Stephen Chow. We hope you will enjoy this family-friendly science fiction tale.
