Your preschooler can learn to make new sounds and add foreign language to their vocabulary in no time. Come enjoy learning Chinese language through stories, games and songs. Both classes are free and open to the public.

Children’s Chinese at Daniel Boone Regional Library

Children’s Chinese is designed for ages 1 to 5 and is held at the Daniel Boone Regional Library, 100 W. Broadway, Columbia, MO, in the Children’s Program Room. Sessions are held on the second Sunday of each month from 3-3:30 p.m. Check out Daniel Boone Regional Library website events for more details.

Preschool Chinese Class at Community United Methodist Church

Come explore Chinese language and culture with your preschooler through songs, center time and monthly themes. Parents are asked to attend and participate with their child ages 0-5 for these fun-filled learning opportunities. Class will be held on the second Wednesday of each month from September to May. Each lesson will explore a central theme through multiple activities designed to appeal to multiple learning styles. Classes begin at 4 p.m. and last for 30 minutes. Community UMC is located at 3301 W Broadway, Columbia, MO; parking is available in the rear.
